In a nutshell yes they are efficient, if you have the right property! Warm air heating was very popular through the 1960’s and 70′. The majority of homes now though have a wet system ie a gas or oil boiler that heats water around pipes to radiators.

• Traditional warm air system not really suitable for larger homes
