We carried out a full oil-to-heat pump conversion, centred around a Daikin Altherma heat pump.
We installed a new air source heat pump and 180L unvented hot water cylinder, along with anti-freeze protection and flexible connections. New external flow and return pipework was run to the cylinder, and the existing heating system was connected to the new setup.
Once the installation was complete, we filled and tested the heating system, adding a chemical inhibitor to protect it long-term. The entire system was then fully commissioned and tested to ensure everything was operating efficiently. All new pipework was carefully insulated, and the manufacturer warranties were registered for the customer’s peace of mind.
At the time of installation, the available grant was £7,500.
