What We Did

We carried out a full heating system upgrade, including:

• Removal of the existing oil boiler and associated system components
• Safe decommissioning and removal of the oil tank
• Installation of a high-efficiency air source heat pump system
• Installation of a new unvented hot water cylinder
• Upgrading radiators where required to suit the new system
• Installing modern controls for improved efficiency and ease of use
• Full commissioning, testing, and system optimisation

All pipework was installed and insulated to ensure the system runs as efficiently as possible.

£9,000 Government Grant – Now Available

At the time of this installation, the grant available for heat pumps was £7,500.

However, under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), homeowners replacing oil or LPG systems can now receive £9,000 towards a heat pump installation.
