Total Energy Services and Operation Christmas Child: donations now open!

Holly Lamb has been organising the Blackmore Vale & Stour and Avon (Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire) shoebox appeal for 6 years now and has seen the campaign grow and bring joy to over 500 children since 2019.
After being truly blown away by the support of our local community last year she is back accepting donations for the 2025 Operation Christmas Child Appeal.
Sending love and hope to ALL children
The Operation Christmas child shoeboxes go to millions of children in need across the world affected by war, famine and poverty.
Now more than ever have the desperate plights of those in need have been bought to our attention. Many of the shoeboxes will go to displaced children around the world who will be able to find comfort in their box of treasures in what should be a joyous time of the year for every child.
Currently Samaritan’s Purse in partnership with local churches are on the ground helping to provide humanitarian aid and assistance to people in areas of conflict and poverty.
How can you help?
Simply drop any donations into our Blandford office and we will do the rest. No need to provide shoeboxes we sort, pack and send for you.
The donations do not have to be new, good condition second hand is perfect too.
Gift Ideas…
Toys – stuffed animals, dolls, slinky, toy cars, trucks, boats, musical items, small balls, interactive toys, plastic figures, dinosaurs, play doh, hair clips.
Hygiene items – hairbrush, flannel, toothbrush, soap, hair bands
Educational: pencils, notepads, pencil case, stampers, coloured pencils, paint set
Clothing: hats, gloves, mittens, leggings, socks, tops
DO NOT PACK toothpaste, lotions, liquids, sweets /food and war related items
Where do the shoe boxes go?
Since 1993 over 220 million children have received a shoebox in over 170 countries around the world. Helping children in need who have been affected by war, famine and poverty.
