Total Energy Services have recently a new bunded oil tank in Shaftesbury.
Our customer lives in a rural village close to Shaftesbury. Being in such a rural location the home relies on an oil fired oil boiler and oil tank to heat and provide the properties hot water. Over time the oil tank began to show a lot of signs of deterioration and therefore it was decided to upgrade the oil tank to a new bunded (double skin) oil tank. The existing tank was a single skin oil tank which meant should the tank leak any oil it would of leaked straight into the environment.
Therefore it was decided the best solution was to upgrade the oil tank to a new bunded (double skin) oil tank.
Bunded oil tanks are now the preferred option for oil tanks offering a safer method of containing oil. Bunded tanks allow your oil to be stored safely and securely. Essentially they are a tank within a tank, meaning should the inner tank fail or overflow the outer tank will catch any of the oil.

DESO Engineering are a UK based manufacturer who offer a 10 year warranty on all their bunded heating oil tanks. This tank is manufactured from UV Stabilised Medium Density Polyethylene and is designed to comply with current environmental standards. For added security the outer bund lid on this DESO tank is provided with an integral barrel lock with two keys.
The customer now has peace of mind that their new oil tank has a secondary tank to contain any spills and a very long 10 year warranty. Along with the confidence of having a premium oil tank.
