Our customer lives in a lovely property just south of the idyllic town of Sturminster Newton in the heart of the Blackmore Vale. They had a wonderful old Stanley cooker that provided their family with hot meals and their heating and hot water. However they now wished to move over to a gas boiler. Our engineers installed a Worcester 30Ri regular gas boiler.
Initially the customers heating system was drained and the cooker was de commissioned ready for removal.
A Worcester magnetic filter was installed. The Worcester Greenstar System Filter has been designed to combat the damaging effects of system debris and pollutants. A magnetic filter works by collecting magnetic debris within a heating system.
Over time rust and corrosion forms in your heating systems pipes and as this debris peels off and combines with debris a thick black sludge like matter accumulates which can cause blockages, reduced heating efficiency, a noisy system, radiator and boiler issues over time. The magnetic filter works by attracting the debris to prevent the sludge from building up. This means the water within your system can continue to freely flow through your pipes helping to keep your system as cost effective for as long as possible.
