Evaporative cooling is an environmentally friendly and cost effective way to cool a wide range of commercial and industrial spaces. Evaporative cooling units can be installed in many types of businesses including warehouses, factories, data centres, gyms, schools, industrial units and more.

Essentially once installed, running costs are next to nothing.
Evaporative air cooling uses the natural reaction of evaporation to cool the air. In an evaporative cooling unit, a pump circulates water from the reservoir on to a cooling pad, which becomes wet. A fan draws air from outside the unit through the moistened pad, as it passes through the pad the air is cooled by evaporation.
Evaporative coolers use 100% fresh air, unlike air conditioning units that re-circulate the air within the space. Evaporative coolers supply 100% fresh air based on a completely natural process which cools the air using water NOT chemicals. The air is constantly replaced with fresh clean air which makes it a great option for people with allergies. This makes it perfect for large industrial premises.

Save up to 10,000kg of carbon a year compared to an equivalent air conditioning system.
Up to 90% cheaper running costs than air conditioning.
Utilises a natural process which enhances the air.
Nasty odours are gone with no stale air circulating.
Doors and windows stay open while you benefit from a cooler atmosphere.

Evaporative cooling can be used in many applications. Most educational, medical and business spaces will require a form of air cooling, especially during the warm summer months. Typically this would involve a costly air conditioning unit that re circulates stale air at very high running costs. As energy prices increase along with a focus on greener energy sources, businesses are looking at low carbon cost effective ways of cooling their business.
Many businesses face challenges when it comes to indoor air quality. Indoor air quality is an important issue from both a social and economic point of view, people are more aware of what they breath and quality of the air around them.
It is well reported that outdoor air pollution is harmful to human health, but we generally pay less attention to the potential health impact of indoor air pollution. This is usually exacerbated in the summertime. High temperatures in factories and warehouses can affect workers and decrease their productivity.

Evaporative air cooling only requires a water supply and access to electricity to run and can be up to 90% more cost effective than traditional air conditioning. Many businesses simply cannot afford to keep up with the costly bills associated with air conditioning units and therefore evaporative cooling is quickly becoming the efficient and affordable way to cool your business.
Evaporative air cooling ensures employees are comfortable, benefit from clean fresh air via the germs and fumes and pollutants collected inside the building are forced out.
The innate simplistic design of evaporative cooling units means they are simple to install and maintain.

Evaporative air cooling is a natural cooling system that uses water evaporation to reduce air temperature. Warm outside air passes through water-saturated cooling pads before being distributed into the building as fresh, cooled air.
Unlike traditional air conditioning, evaporative cooling does not rely on refrigerants or energy-intensive compressors. Instead, it uses the natural process of water evaporation to provide cooling, making it a highly energy-efficient solution.
No. Evaporative cooling systems typically use significantly less electricity than conventional air conditioning systems, helping businesses reduce operating costs while maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures.
Evaporative cooling is particularly effective in warehouses, factories, workshops, manufacturing facilities, sports halls, garden centres, agricultural buildings and other large open commercial spaces.
Yes. Unlike many air conditioning systems that recirculate indoor air, evaporative cooling continuously introduces fresh filtered air into the building, helping to improve indoor air quality and ventilation.
Yes. By reducing indoor temperatures and increasing airflow, evaporative cooling can create a more comfortable working environment, particularly during warmer weather.
Yes. Evaporative cooling systems are widely used throughout the UK and can provide effective cooling in many commercial and industrial environments, particularly during warmer periods.
Regular maintenance helps ensure efficient operation and system longevity. Typical maintenance includes inspecting cooling pads, checking water distribution systems and carrying out routine servicing.
In many cases, yes. Evaporative cooling systems can often be retrofitted into existing commercial and industrial buildings, subject to a site survey and suitability assessment.
